Spring is here!

IN my mind anyway. I started wearing my Robin's Egg Blue Spring coat on the weekend. Made me feel good.............A little cold but good, lol.
Then I decorated by Easter Tree.

Here are some closeup shots of eggs that we have had for years. The kids decorated them at least 15 years ago. I have five left. They are so delicate, it's a wonder that I have managed to save any of them. You can be as careful as you like, some of them still get broken.

I refuse to look outside today and let the weather get me down. My mind is set on Spring and I don't care what else happens.

Yesterday I went to do a test for a job as a Census Enumerator. Wow, the questions that were asked really got the brain cells working. I had to shake my head to get rid of the cobwebs in there.  Fingers crossed that I get the job. It's only part-time for a few weeks, but they pay is half decent.  When you live in a small town, there are not too many jobs available.

Happy thoughts of spring to everyone.

P. S. Posted some new items to my Etsy store, I have been a little bit busy.

  1. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.

Good luck with the Census Enumerator job Melaine. I hope that you get it.
I love your spring coat. I wore my spring coat today but it's not bright like your.
Your Easter eggs are beautiful and they lasted a long time.
When my kids were young, I had painted some Easter eggs with great care and set them in the downstair bathroom in a small basket. Every year I put them in the bathroom for decoration. Everyone would admire them until one of my kid's friend used the bathroom and knocked the basket on the floor smashing my decorated eggs.It had taken me hours to paint them. My kids were so disappointed that their poor little friend had destroyed my eggs in an instant. I never painted any since. JB

  2. I love your Easter tree. It reminds me that I used to have one but having used it for a few years. Actually, I haven't seen it for a few years. Must be buried in the basement (where the spiders live) LOL
I hope you get the job too.
