Happy Valentine's Day!

A day for telling family and friends just how much they mean to you. I hope all my friends were treated extra special today.

I just knit these cute little bunny hats for my great-nieces. Now to get them in the mail tomorrow. I hope they enjoy wearing them.
What a beautiful day it was at the cabin on Saturday. This is a great shot of the sun on the ocean. The view from our cabin.
This one I snapped when the dogs and I went for a walk on Saturday morning. The large piece of land is called Roundabout Head.

Here are Cleo and Shuster having lots of fun in the snow on our walk. The downside was:  all the snowballs that stuck to  their paws. They weren't long melting when we got back to the cabin and they lay down by the potbellied stove. The heat soon got rid of that problem.

We went for a ride on the snowmobile on Saturday afternoon. This tree  covered in snow reminded me of a witch.

Saw some partridges in a small crop of woods. Just snapped this in time before they went to wing.
Then not far from those we came upon this one all by himself on the snow. This one was really quiet and let us get really close to get a picture. Couldn't believe it didn't  fly away. They are so pretty this time of the year.
We also saw a fox, but he was too fast for us to get a picture. I guess he was shy. All in all a great day in the great outdoors. The sun was shining and winds were calm.
And lastly, here is a picture of Gordon's woodpile... pretty impressive don't you think?
